NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Today, the California Association of Highway Patrolmen (CAHP) endorses Diane Dixon in her race for Assembly District 72.  

In their endorsement release they wrote, “On behalf of the California Association of Highway Patrolmen (CAHP), we would like to officially inform you of our endorsement of your candidacy for election to the 72nd Assembly District […] We also appreciate your concern for the welfare and safety of peace officers and your interest in maintaining the CHP as one of the most respected law enforcement agencies in the state.” 

“This endorsement means a lot to me,” said Diane Dixon. “In times such as these when crime is on the rise, it is important that we support our law enforcement officers and make sure they have the resources they need in order to continue protecting our communities. That is what I will do when I am in the Assembly.”
